Rules

1. You have to cite a reliable site, so no Wikipedia (the stuff on there should be cited though)
2. Use a link shortener (whilst twitter itself shortens links, it helps with the next thing)
3. Try to keep your contributions (including shortened links) under 140 characters, this is more for the sake of convenience more than anything.

Since there's the Character limit to contend with, it'll be hard to attribute facts, if you're really desperate for attribution, you can probably @ mention the Twitter account with a link to your tweet or something (the rules which aren't discounted by the medium change still apply).
